Integrative medicine reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches. Integrative medicine practitioners can work in health & wellness education and consultation, in naturopathic and integrative medicine clinics, as health blog writers 'bloggers', in writing and publishing, as health coaches, in nutrition practices, as integrative healthcare providers if they already hold a medical, nursing, clinical social worker, clinical counselor, or clinical psychology, and surely in research centers that conduct studies on integrative medicine. Integrative medicine practitioners can also work in health and wellness centers, in cancer centers, in body-mind practices, and in mental health and wellness clinics.
